Your CV needs to grab the attention of the reader. It is useful to include a Personal Profile at the beginning. This could be a couple of sentences giving the reader an idea of how you see yourself and what you might be looking for in your next challenge.
Write your CV in chronological order with your current job at the top.
You should include the dates (month and year) that you began and finished each position and give a reason for any gaps in employment.
Your CV will be easier to read if it is not laid out in table format. If you are or were a sea farer, your sea career can be added in table format at the end.
